-As my last piece for my senior year art course, I wanted to do something with high visual contrast and done almost entirely from imagination. I chose a birthday cake because my original focus was 'Foods that look good,' and I felt that coming full circle was a good thing.

-People focus so much of their lives on there being one God and how their God is right and your's is not that the bigger picture is missed. Anyone could be your so-called 'God,' it matters not. What matters is the morals you learn from having one, the way you treat others, and the way you look at yourself.

-A commentary on modern day advertising where everywhere you look there are pictures extremely editted in Photoshop. I see one day where even the model will not be real at all.

-This one was a doozy. I was falling behind with my art class and needed to do a painting over the weekend. The only canvas I had in the right shape had an oil-ground on it, and I only have acrylic paints at my house. Although it was difficult to work with at first, the medium ended up being one of my favorites.

-In 1281, in the Battle of Koan, the Mongol army returned to finish what it had started to do to Japan 17 years before. Leading the combination of the Chinese and Mongol massive fleet, Kublai Khan attacked. The severely out numbered Japanese forces were destined to lose until Raijin, the God of lightning and thunder, summoned a massive typhoon that defeated the enemy and led Japan to victory.
The Japanese word for Typhoon is Kamikaze.
Kami- Divine

-I always found it weird to say that I liked someone, so I used to called them 'elephants.' Yeah. Elephants. This piece was done when I had moved on to finding a new elephant.
-Collaborative image assignment for my Painting Class. I wanted to convey my belief that during the Civil War, the Confederacy was not doing anything wrong. To me, they were doing what the American Dream was, standing up for what you believe in.
-An assignment for my Art 1 class for practice representing the same values with different colors. Referenced off a picture of my little cousin, Jessica.
